About as far south as one can go and still be in Africa. Warmer and calmer than Cape Horn was at the same time of year, but still brisk. 20 knot winds and 17 degree water, but sunny and beautiful! Big birds with lots of feathers, and funny Jackass Penguins with feathers tending towards scales.

One more adventure neither of us had really aspired towards, but undertook willingly when given the chance. Remember that 17 degree water? Great White Sharks love it. That, and the Cape Harbor Seals, of course.
