Piha Beach

Continuing north along the west coast of the North Island, Piha Beach on the Tasman Sea is one of the premier surf spots in the world. Pretty hectic and noisy on weekends, but not bad on the
Wednesday we were there. It rained off and on, so we cocooned most of the day in Moby, finally going out for a walk along the beach in the afternoon. We scrambled along the rocks and shallow water to get to some of these places, but hurried home when we realized the tide was coming in, not out as we thought. Made it home without getting the camera wet, everything else will dry out tomorrow.
