More Piha Beach

Only that one rainy day so far, other days have been boringly consistent - 80 degrees and bright
sun.

The ancient Maori culture here used wood or stone carvings called a Pou to signify and protect a special place. We have a similar procedure in the Northern Hemisphere, only it’s spelled slightly different - Pooh.

Great photos. The series of waves coming to shore was breath taking. Just read a short aricle about the Maori and their natural healing secrets. The Maori came to an international cutural event in western North Carolina years ago. Anne and I really enjoyed their performance.
