Moorea

Moorea is a beautiful little volcanic island 10 miles from Tahiti, both of which are part of the
French Polynesian Islands. Not much to do here unless you like nature :) We walked a little way
along the shore until we found a beach that looked interesting for snorkeling, where we spent the morning. Here’s Margie with some of the treasures she found.

Then in the afternoon we climbed one of the small mountains overlooking the ship. On the other
side was a view of the downtown area and tender dock. Near the top the elevation was engraved
in concrete - you decide what the units are and where the decimal point belongs.
