ship (so far)!
Our last ship sponsored shore excursion was a ride on an America’s Cup sailing yacht. This boat
came in 4th in 1995 for the Japanese team, and is now used to give tourists a taste of racing.
Pretty tame, but fun. We both got to grind - operate the 2-person winches that raise and trim the sails, and Phil took the helm for one tack.
Back in the city that evening, we saw a troupe of Chinese acrobats celebrating the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit.
