And we’re off! As the beautiful left coast of the North American continent fades into the distance,we rejoice in good omens - all our baggage made it to Long Beach airport on the same plane we
did! And since it did, Margie was actually able to find clothes to wear!
Wonderful first night asea. 35 kt winds out of the North rocked us to sleep as we steamed West,
awakening to a beautiful, albeit chilly, morning. Next good omen - we haven’t needed our life
jackets yet! Dance class, bridge class, food - time for a nap before dinner.

Wonderful news, sounds as if your holiday is off to a great start. One always wonders about luggage. Glad that Margie found something to wear. Your life jackets are stunning love the color becoming to you both. I have started to knit again, is Margie crocheting away?
