Lima

Leaving Cuzco, we overnighted in Lima, and then flew on to Iquitos. Lima's a city. However, due to flight schedules we were forced to endure it, so we decided to enjoy as best we could.

Had a HUGE room with plate glass bay window overlooking a park and the Pacific Ocean, complete with surfers, and a tub just Margie's size.

Down in the park we found a lot of humor and creativity in a cow decorating exhibit. And hang gliders galore, making us wish we had more time in the city. Following a wonderful fresh seafood dinner at a restaurant on a pier several hundred meters out into the ocean, and a good nights' sleep, we finally made it north and our first view of the Amazon.
