Drugs, bugs & rats

So far so good. 4 flights on 3 different carriers, everything reasonably on time and both our suit cases arrived when we did! Cuzco is at 11,000 ft above sea level, and we found out that DOES matter. Even for youngsters like us. We had done our homework, and brought US drugs to help with the transition. The hotel also recommended Meta Coca, a tea made from the leaf of the coca plant. Notice I said coca, not cocoa, they're different. We're talking cocaine, not Hersheys! Anyway, between the US and local remedy, we think we'll live. Margie had a killer headache for 18 hours, and Phil is still short of breath, but after a day of rest we're ready to wander the town today.

The rest of the title? Dinner last night was crayfish and guinea pig with local vegetables and sauces. Excellent!
