Our final (sniff) port stop before Miami was Grand Turk. We opted for another horseback riding
trip, this one to include a swim with the horses. The land ride was a short, plodding, dusty, loop
around the beach, and unmemorable. The swim was a little more exciting. Only one woman
actually went swimming, the rest of us stayed astride as we galloped back and forth in the
incredibly clear blue water. Lots of smiles and whoops.
And then there were none. An incredible trip is drawing to a close. Sadness at the ending, but far
more joy in the memories and friendships forged on, in, and near the ship. We have loved,
laughed and learned as we explored new longitudes and latitudes. Phil knows a little Spanish, we
have a new hobby in bridge (forgot to tell you we’ve been taking bridge classes too) that we hope
to be able to continue at home. We took 3,198 pictures, and if you want to see the other 3,047
you’ll have to come visit us at The 100 Aker Wood. We’ve had fun sharing the trip via this blog,
and figure if you’re still reading you must have had fun, too.
Love to all,
Margie & Phil
