We're getting into cruise life

Last night was the Captain’s reception and first formal dinner. Since very few of you have seen
suit or dress anywhere near us, we thought we’d provide irrefutable proof that such an anomaly
can occur. Today was shore leave in Cabo San Lucas - we went sea kayaking from the town to
the very end of Baja California. Swells in the open ocean were 6', don’t know what they
measured close to the rocks, but we had a ball. More fun than any roller coaster, with pelicans
and sea lions close enough to smell. Margie the Mermaid went snorkeling, but Phil drowns too
easily and stayed on the beach.

You two make a handsome couple! I noticed you stopped to pose in front of a horse! LOL You guys have a wonderful trip, you deserve it! I will just have to admire your lovely pictures of you two enjoying the warm weather, while I sit here in Tennessee stuck in the cold and wet weather. Have a safe journey!

Horse Linda says "wish you had taken us in your trunk!" Margie, when do you ride the carrousel horse? Love you both and looks like you're having fun, Pat, Darryl and Horse Linda (Mercury's mom).

wonderful photos of you both. You are both sharp dressers. Looks like the trip is doing you both a world of good. You have me green with envy. Loved the photo with the carousel horse. I can see that you have a busy schedule each day. You will come home knowing so many new things.

Finally felt caught up enough to spend some time on your fascinating trip. Took me a while to realize I had to go to the end if I wanted to start at the beginning, so here I am.

Your third picture from the bottom - the fascinating rock formation looks familiar. I remember seeing it on the cruise we took several years ago in the Sea of Cortez. We spent the day at Cabo and I spent most of the afternoon at the beach. I remember walking barefoot the entire width of the peninsula and swimming in both the Ocean and the Sea within the same hour. Love, Dad.
